Married, is inspired by my parents up coming 23rd wedding anniversary. I aimed to create a series that attempted to capture an honest perspective of what marriage truly is. Although an unmarried nineteen year old at the time, I found myself inspired by the humorous, serious, uncomfortable, and sometimes ugly and disturbing reality of a marriage. Photographed on 4x5 negative film in order to pay homage the pre digital era my parents first met in.
